Not a big fan of Abercrombie & Fitch so for this post, I’ll try to be as unbiased as possible. Abercrombie & Fitch has a Store card issued by Comenity Bank coined the Abercrombie & Fitch Store Card. At a quick glance, the card earns 25% off your first purchase and you’ll be able to take advantage of exclusive cardholder offers, special birthday surprises and easily access your online account management at no annual fee.

Alternative Options:
- If you’re getting this card for just using the shopping cart trick, I’d much rather recommend the Ulta Beauty Credit Card or Victoria Secret Credit Card
- If you have bad credit and you’re having a hard chance at approvals, I’d much rather recommend the Discover It Secured which ranks pretty nice in our “How To Build Credit With Secured Credit Cards” archive.

Conclusion:
The Abercrombie & Fitch Store Card is supposed to offer loyal spending to cardholders, however, they fall short when it comes to anything even remotely rewarding. With a 27+% APR and no Mastercard variation, the only thing the card is really good for is shopping cart tricks. Again, it is a store card, so you’ll be limited to only spending within Amercrombie and their affiliated clothing brands. After receiving my Abercrombie and Fitch store card I found out I should have ask more questions. Like does comenity bank have a automated phone system to except payment from a debit card without it costing you. Because that’s how I make my payments. Synchrony, Capital One and others has this phone system. With comenity you have to have a checking account. Because if you use a debit card you will have to speak with a representative on the phone and it will cost you $9 to make your payment each month! I did appreciate that the $9 was waived the first time making payment. Needless to say I want be using this card any more until comenity steps it up and quits this kind of practice. Because I always pay my full balance each month and I’m not going to pay them $9 a month to use their card! When they should be paying me like with some kind of rewards, better than just 25% off first purchase. So unless you have a checking account you don’t want this card and even then you may not want it.
