Citi is making in much more convenient for you to add an authorized user to your account as of yesterday. Cardholders with an IOS device can add authorized users directly from their Citi Mobile App. Such a ability is first of it’s caliber for a majority of Credit Card issuers nationwide.

Add Authorized Users on Citi Mobile App:
- Citi’s Mobile App now allows you to add an Authorized User.
- This means also being able to monitor AU spending.
- This function is available for all Citi consumer cards.
- You’ll be prompted with an alert stating receiving the AU card within 2 weeks.
How To Add Authorized User:
- Download the Citi Mobile App
- Enter in the person’s information: User’s first name, last name, date of birth and address
- You’ll get a confirmation screen and your AU will receive their card within two weeks

This is something I’d like to see pushing into 2018. Big props to Citi for singlehandedly making their mobile app platform so much more user-friendly. Just the utter convenience of adding an authorized user would be just 3 clicks on your mobile phone, well, if you have IOS, of course.
