Current American Express cardholders, logging into my Amex account the other day, I was prompted with a special little message indicating that I could enroll and receive a beautiful 6.99% Low-Interest APR on my Blue Cash Preferred® Card from American Express. Prior APR as expected: 13.49% to 23.49%, based on your creditworthiness and other factors.

Final Analysis:

If you’re a current American Express cardholder, you may have been targeted for 6.99% APR. You will have until March 14, 2017 to register. An important note to keep in mind, I stress that you treat your credit cards as if it were another debit card to avoid any unnecessary fees. With a low-interest rate like this, it’s no exception, however, this makes using your credit card so much more convenient considering you may have big payments in the near future you want to take care of.
