How Bambino Works
With Bambino, they will connect the parents and babysitters based off of their social network of recommendations. Depending if you’re a parent or a babysitter, the app will work differently.
For parents, Bambino will have 2 main functions which are:
- Finding babysitters that are close by and have already worked with people that you already know.
- They will save you time without having to worry about security.
Once a parent signs up for Bambino, they will be able to use their Facebook profile. Bambino uses the social media platform to connect you with other parents you know, and you’ll be able to go through their “favorites” list of sitters and read reviews.
When you’re looking for a babysitter, you will be able to sort it out by babysitters that you already know, sitters that your friends know, and then babysitters by distance. Once you’ve posted a babysitting job, just select from the babysitters that have seen your post.
Babysitters will all come from different levels and prices such as:
- Junior babysitter (13 – 15 years old)
- Standard babysitter (15 – 18 years old)
- Advanced babysitter (18+ years old)
- Elite babysitter (18+ years old & background checked)

With Bambino, they will charge 10% to use their app, and all of the prices that you see will have this fee added. Theoretically speaking, if a babysitter makes their rate $10, it will show up as $11 on the app.
Babysitters that use Bambino will be able to make their own rates and schedules, and connect to parents by requesting recommendations as well. After you’ve received one recommendation, you will be seen by the neighborhood families and friends of those that have recommended you. You can increase your network connections with the more recommendations you build up.
To sign up as a Bambino babysitter, connect your Facebook profile to the app. You will also need your Venmo or bank account info before you’re able to accept a babysitting job.
All of the Bambino babysitters agree to random profile reviews for quality and safety checks. This will also include your social media like: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Once you’ve finished a full background check, you will receive a verified badge on your profile.
Time Tracking & Payment
The Bambino timer will start immediately at the scheduled reservation, however the parents will need to stop the timer once the reservation is over. After that, the parent’s payment will be processed to your account immediately.
Parents will be able to pay directly with the app using a credit card. Then the money will be put into the babysitters bank or Venmo account.
