If you were targeted, you could take advantage of a $50 flight discount when you make a spend of $1,000 with your new Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® Card within a given 3 months of card activation. If you can take advantage of even the 3x mile category, and you book a flight at least once a year, I say it’s worth it. Pretty nice sign-up bonus if you have paid flights with Alaska, otherwise, it may not be the best option considering you’ll be going out of your way to compensate for any value that you could reap out of the discounted $50 credit.
