A marketing survey was released to a number of Barclay cardholders from Barclay themselves as an approach to addressing consumer power within a redesigned card program benefit and features.
Nothing seems to be set in stone yet for what appears to be the new version of the once-glorious Upromise Card from Barclay. For those of you that had the card prior to Barclay’s decision to stop new sign-ups, you earned a beautiful 5% cash back from online shopping, restaurants, and online travel on top of no limit, annual fee, and a 10% match when you deposit into a Barclay high-yield savings.
Editor’s Note: Again, there’s no final judgement, however, we still will be able to provide any viable information we can below.

Conclusion:
From the intentions on the Sample Letter, we can assume that Barclay is handing out marketing surveys towards cardholders as a means to satisfying consumer demand/power. As what we’ve seen so far, this card will be a everywhere cash-back card with either 1.25%-1.5% cash back on top of a 15% bonus when you automatically redeem your cash-back into a 529 account from Barclay. As of right now, no final judgment will be made suitable towards any moves. It almost seems inevitable that the 10 percent for online purchases wasn’t going to stick for long.
