Let’s face it, gas can get pretty expensive especially for those that commute regularly. Whether you’re making your daily destinations to work, school, etc., wouldn’t it just be so much better if we’d all get rewarded for spending money on gas? Considering that the average American will spend over $2,000 per year on gasoline purchases makes it all the more reasonable as to why it’s completely necessary to make a list of “Best Credit Cards for Gas Spending.”
Editor’s Note: A lot of gas stations out there can now charge you extra for using a credit card to pay for your gas, so it’s safe to keep an eye out prior to usage.

Fort Knox Credit Union Visa Platinum Credit Card – 5% Cash Back:
With the Fort Knox Federal Credit Union Platinum VISA Credit Card , you’ll essentially be earning 5% cash back on your gas purchases. This card has no annual fee attached as well as no limit to the amount of points that you earn. However, there is no sign-up bonus attached and no bridged cash back from the 5% on gas and 1% on everything else. What I mean by this is that there is no middle category that earns you 2-3%, so this card is really only ideal for those that spend a hefty amount on gas alone.
