- How to earn it:
- Open a new Cash Back Checking Account
- Within 90 calendar days the account must
- (1) have a minimum of one eligible direct deposit;
- (2) have a total of at least $1000 deposited via eligible direct deposit;
- (3) have a minimum of one debit card transaction; and
- (4) remain open for a minimum of three months. Eligible direct deposits are those from any government agency or employer
- Once all eligibility criteria are met, the $200 bonus deposit will be made into the Cash Back Checking account within two business days.

Fine Print
- Promotion for the $200 bonus deposit runs from August 12 – December 31, 2024. Must open a Cash Back Checking Account and within 90 calendar days the account must (1) have a minimum of one eligible direct deposit; (2) have a total of at least $1000 deposited via eligible direct deposit; (3) have a minimum of one debit card transaction; and (4) remain open for a minimum of three months. Eligible direct deposits are those from any government agency or employer. Transfers from other Credit Union ONE accounts are not eligible as funds must be new to Credit Union ONE. $1000 deposit minimum is a total of all eligible direct deposits during the 90-day period. Eligible debit card transactions are those that use Pin or Signature, excluding ATM and ITM transactions. Once all eligibility criteria are met, the $200 bonus deposit will be made into the Cash Back Checking account within two business days.
- Cash Back Checking account must be opened either at the Waterford branch location (5129 Highland Rd Waterford, MI) or by phone. New or existing members who do not currently own a Cash Back Checking account are eligible. Employees and their family members are eligible. Limit of one bonus deposit per member. Member is liable for any tax implications. Credit Union ONE reserves the right to change or discontinue this promotion at any time.
- Promotion runs August 12, 2024 – December 31, 2024. Eligibility restrictions apply. Must be a member of Credit Union ONE to qualify. Promotion is open to account holders 18 years of age and older. Credit Union ONE employees are ineligible. Immediate family members of Credit Union ONE employees are eligible only for transactions conducted on accounts that are not jointly owned with Credit Union ONE employees.
How To Waive Monthly Fees
- Cash Back Checking: Monthly Service fee of $6. Fee waived with any one of the following:
- $500 monthly average balance in the checking account
- incoming automatic deposit
- Perform any combination of 15 qualifying transactions in a month. Qualifying transactions include debit card and bill pay transactions. Debit card transactions must be posted to the account by the last day of the month. Excludes ATM transactions.
