If you have a Discover it Miles card, you’re probably aware of their $30 in-flight WiFi credit. Unfortunately, they have announced that this reimbursement will be discontinued on April 1, 2019. It may still be used prior to the date, but not afterwards.
It’s a shame to see such a convenient benefit go – especially considering there’s no annual fee.
A rate of 1.5% cash back on all purchases still remains, as well as double cash back in the first 12 months of account opening. Benefits like no foreign transaction fees and choice of card color or style are here to stay as well. It’s still a travel card worth considering.
