The LATAM Visa Signature card isn’t really the most well known airline branded credit card in the platform. However, for people who go to South America quite often, it’s a great choice for you.
LATAM Visa Signature has offers for 2x points on LATAM airfar and 1x points for other expenses. You can even receive 4,000 bonus points each year once you’ve renewed your membership and a couple other LATAM related perks.

LATAM Visa Signature 20,000 Bonus Points Offer
Make use of the LATAM Visa Signature card’s introductory offer of: 20,000 bonus Multiplus Points. The evaluation for these 20k points will be worth about $300 (more on that below).
You must charge your card for the first time to be able to qualify for this offer. There won’t be any spending or time limitations to stress over.
What are LATAM Multiplus Points Worth?
Compared to other airline branded credit cards, depending on how you use your points will reflect their value. Hypothetically, using different booking scenarios has shown a large range of values from $0.002 to $0.09 for each point. Typically, every Multiplus Point will be worth about $0.015, so the 20,000 points will be worth about $300.
Depending on where you decide to go, distance, time, flight, class, etc will make the value of your points differ. If you want to fly to different cities in Brazil, it will normally cost less in USD, this way your points will also be worth a less amount. For international flights and cabin upgrades over Economy will make the cash cost increase. In other words, your points will be worth more this way.
Your Multiplus Points can be used towards:
- Award flights with LATAM Airlines or a partner airline (more on that below)
- Cabin upgrades
- Hotel stays
- Car rentals
To receive the best value, redeem your Multiplus Points for air travel with LATAM Airlines or one of their qualified partners. LATAM is apart of the Oneworld Airline Alliance, this way you will be able to redeem your Multiplus Points towards award flights with any of the participating oneworld member airlines:
Oneworld Airline Alliance Airlines
American Airlines | British Airways | Cathay Pacific |
Finnair | Iberia | Japan Airlines |
Latam | Malaysia Airlines | Qantas |
Qatar | Royal Jordanian | S7 Airlines |
SriLankan Airlines | Fiji Airways (oneworld connect) | Royal Air Maroc (future member) |
LATAM also has 2 non-alliance partners: Aeromexico and Alaska Airlines.
