I’m finding conflicting info on this on your, & other sites. Your site here says must open “Bright Banking” checking account, in other places says “eligible” checking or “Bright Banking or Senior Checking”. ALSO, here under fine print says you must open it “online” or using “app”, but it other places doesnt say that it must be opened online., AND the Branch Manager at my local branch is encouraging me to come into the branch for her to help with opening & said, “we will look up the code, because we will need to put it in when setting up your account”. ALSO, here under BB&T How to Earn $500 Checking Bonus, then under “Fine Print” tab to left, the last bullet-point refers to the bonus as a $1,000 bonus! Wow, is there a $1,000 BB&T Bonus available? BBT is honest and does pay the bonus when you open an account. They will work with you to assure you receive your bonus.
It is not scam. I’ve got it. It is not a scam. BB&T is honest. It is true.
I didnt have a BB&T @work code and got confused and didnt enter the promo code (didnt realize). Is there anyway to fix this oversight?
Two things to note about BB&T. 1) They charge $3 per 3 day transfer or $10 for 1 day transfer from your account. Also, they asked me to come into a branch to sign a signature card. All the other banks I’ve utilized, Chase, Citi, Wells, dont require these extra hurdles, and the bonuses are better too.
