All of the Priority Pass membership discounts and promotions will be updated here.
Spending your time in an airport isn’t the best, the food is too expensive, and it’s hard to look for charging outlets. Not to mention the chairs there have no lumber support at all. All of these things can change if you use the Priority Pass.
Using the Priority Pass membership, it will grant you access to more than 1,300 airport lounges, a quiet and calm place to relax or work while you wait to board your flight.

Priority Pass Features
If you’re a member of Priority Pass, then this will enable to you go into any of their lounges. It won’t matter which airline you’re flying with. You will just need a same-day boarding pas and your Priority Pass card (digital card on your phone will be accepted).
Priority Pass features will differ depending on the lounge you go to. In every lounge, you can expect to find free snacks, drinks, and alcohol, comfy tables and chairs, and lots of charging ports. You’ll even be given a safe WiFi network, newspapers, and magazines in these lounges.
Typically, international lounges will have more to offer for premium amenities rather than domestic ones. Their food choices are normally way better (full buffet choices). There will even be conference rooms, showers, and spas included.
This Priority Pass app is an excellent way to keep track with the lounge amenities and locations. iOS app | Android app
Other than the lounges, Priority Pass members will be granted access to Minute Suites, which will be a private retreat post-security to sleep, relax, or work (image seen above).
Priority Pass members will be able to rent these Minute Suites with a discount of $28 an hour, and a 30-min shower will charge an extra fee of $20.
These members will also be able to make use of the sleep pods at the Dubai International Airport, spa treatments at Aspire in Heathrow (exra charge), and more included.
Priority Pass Tips & Tricks
To be able to steer clear of overcrowding the lounge, Priority Pass will give credits (normally $28) to specific airport restaurants. There are some restaurants that will allow you to be accompanied by a guest, so you can get $56 off your bill altogether.
This restaurant perk is available on cards such as:
- Chase Sapphire Reserve
- Citi Prestige
- U.S. Bank Altitude Reserve Visa Infinite Card
There are some airports that will let you receive credits for non-restaurant items such as a nap room (PHL) or a golf green (MSP).
Keep in mind, that American Express cards will exclude non-lounge experiences, airport restaurants will be included as well.
You can normally go into a Priority Pass lounge in the U.S. after you’ve gotten to your final destination. Why is this a good idea? This is a good choice to have when you want to a snack before you go about. Or you would want to relax for a little while to stay clear of rush hour times. Whatever the reason, this option is always available for you to take.
It would be a great idea to download the Priority Pass app onto your phone for several reasons such as:
- You won’t miss out on lounges or experiences. Venues that are participating in this program will change frequently, so make sure to look in the app when you get to the airport for any updates.
- Get the digital membership card that is available in the app. If you forgot your actual Priority Pass card at home, you’ll be able to use the digital card to go into majority lounges.
Priority Pass Drawbacks
Unfortunately, the Priority Pass has a few disadvantages to them. There are some Priority Pass drawbacks that they could work on like:
Limited domestic footprint. There won’t be a lot of Priority Pass lounges in the U.S. They are mainly focused on Western Europe and North Asia.
Overcapacity. With how well known they are, Priority Pass has put limitations on the amount of people that can go into specific lounges in a certain time frame. Back then, members were able to bring in unlimited guests. Now you can bring no more than 3 guests with you depending on the membership tier you have.
