With a Chase Sapphire Reserve, you’ll be able to achieve a 100,000 Ultimate Rewards Bonus Points right off the bat with a spend of $5,000 within a given 3 months. Now, that seems all the more generous to me already, and to countless other, this bonus seems like it’s too good to be true. What’s the Catch? This 100K offer has done it’s job in attracting a wide array of audience, but the big question is if this promotion will last? Will it be a standard bonus like the Chase Sapphire Preferred or will it be lowered at some point.

How Long Will Reserve’s Bonus Last?
Chase has extended to their bankers more details among this proposition. How long will this bonus be up for grabs? Safely put, “Customers will always get the best available Chase Sapphire Reserve Offer in-branch.” Concluding that there will be possible changes to the sign-up bonus within the near future, but the In-Branch offer will remain the same 100k. Besides, in-branch offers are often times better than the online offers and we can see that with Chase’s Sapphire Preferred or Ink Plus. Applying In-branch will also increase your chances of getting Pre-Approved for the CSR so be sure to take that into consideration.
Conclusion:
For some, it may be an unreasonable circumstance that led you to be denied for the card, whether it be your status with the 5/24 Rule or your credit limit, but either way, some of us has to wait before being able to get their hands on the Chase Sapphire Reserve. One of the most unfortunate things that could happen is that the 100,000 sign-up bonus is reduced to a standard bonus.
However, it’s highly unlikely that the In-branch offer of 100,000 UR Points would change considering it’s been confirmed by Chase themselves. Furthermore, it’s expected that the online offer will be reduced in the near future and I give it until the end of September for any changes to occur, but that’s just my prediction.
